New iPhone SE with A13 and price from $ 399

Literally, Apple has just unveiled the hotly anticipated successor to the original iPhone SE, released in 2016.  As expected, the new model received the same name - iPhone SE.  And it costs exactly the same as its predecessor - $ 399.

 All the recent leaks turned out to be completely reliable and the new iPhone SE turned out exactly as expected.  He really got the old-fashioned design in the style of the iPhone 8 with a proprietary Home button with a built-in Touch ID fingerprint scanner.  In fact, the new iPhone SE is an updated iPhone 8. The new item has the same screen - an IPS panel with a diagonal of 4.7 inches and a resolution of 1334x750 pixels (326 ppi) with True Tone support and a maximum brightness of 625 cd / m2.  Moreover, even their weight and dimensions are exactly the same - 138.4x67.3 x7.3 mm with a mass of 148 g. That is, the new iPhone SE is now the most compact and lightest Apple smartphone.

 At the same time, the SoC A13 Bionic is installed inside, like the older brothers of the iPhone 11 line.

 The main camera of the iPhone SE is single - with a resolution of 12 megapixels and an aperture of F / 1.8.  Presumably, this is the same camera that is used in smartphones iPhone Xr.  The camera supports the Smart HDR feature, which debuted for the first time on the iPhone XS, and shoots 4K videos at 60 frames per second.  There is also support for portrait mode with spectacular artistic blurring of the background, but it only works when shooting people.  At the same time, portrait mode is also available for the front camera with a resolution of 7 megapixels.  Prior to this, portrait mode in a selfie camera was a distinctive feature of models with support for Face ID.



 Apple traditionally does not disclose exact data on the amount of RAM and battery capacity, we will learn later from the TENAA documentation.  At the same time, the autonomy of the new iPhone SE is announced at the iPhone 8 level.

 In addition, the new iPhone SE has wireless charging, Wi-Fi 6, support for two SIM cards (physical and eSIM) and dust and moisture protection according to the IP67 standard (30 minutes at a depth of a meter).

 IPhone SE has only three color options - black, white and red Product RED.

 In the US, pre-orders for the iPhone SE will open on April 17, and actual sales will begin a week later on April 24 in more than 40 countries.  In the US, the cost of the base version with 64 GB of flash memory, as noted above, is $ 399.  Versions with 128 and 256 GB of memory will also be available - priced at $ 450 and $ 550, respectively.  Each buyer of the new iPhone SE, Apple gives an annual subscription to the service with movies and TV shows Apple TV +.

 Alas, there are no data on availability dates and prices for iPhone SE in India yet.

 Simultaneously with the announcement of the new iPhone SE, the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus models disappeared from the Apple website, which can be regarded as a cessation of sales of the latter.  It is not surprising, because the iPhone SE, as we have already noted, is actually a replacement for the iPhone 8.
