Mustard oil: stimulating for hair growth and blood circulation

Widely used in India for its stimulating properties, mustard oil is reputed to promote hair growth and strengthen it. Also fighting against their fall, it activates blood circulation and plays a key role in their nutrition. Rich in zinc, beta carotene, Omega3 and vitamins A and E, it is also very beneficial for the body! Firming and warming, it is indeed very appreciated in slimming treatment or after sport.

Mustard oil for hair...
Stimulating, mustard oil boosts blood circulation and thus promotes hair growth. Used regularly, it therefore prevents them from falling, strengthens them durably, and fights against dandruff. Sheathing the hair fiber, it also makes your hair soft, smooth and shiny, and prevents premature graying.
Mainly recommended for fine, limp, dull and tired hair, it is also a great help for dry or dry hair. Best used in an oil bath, mixed with other vegetable oils with similar or complementary properties: coconut, castor, avocado, black cumin, bay leaves or argan.

Quick recipe ideas
Special oil bath for hair growth
- 2 tsp. to c. mustard oil
- 1 C. to c. coconut oil
- 1 C. to s. castor oil

Apply on the scalp, massaging well, then on the lengths, insisting on strand by strand. Leave for 20 to 30 minutes under a cellophane film, or under a heated towel to keep the heat to the maximum. Then rinse with a mild shampoo before letting it air dry.

Anti-hair loss mask
- 10 ml of argan oil
- 10 ml of mustard oil
- 5 drops of Saint Thomas bay essential oil
- 15 drops of ylang ylang essential oil
- 10 ml of broccoli oil
- 10 ml of sweet almond oil

First apply strand by strand before massaging to penetrate the active ingredients and facilitate sheathing. Leave on for 30 minutes to 1 hour under a warm towel, then rinse with a mild shampoo.


Precautions for use...
Not recommended for children, mustard oil can also be irritating for sensitive skin, especially on the face. In cosmetics, it is therefore preferable to use it only for the body and hair.

To avoid any inconvenience, be sure to dilute it to a maximum of 50% in another vegetable oil. In the event of sensations of heating and / or tingling persisting more than a few minutes after installation, rinse the product thoroughly.

Finally, if it is used in cooking in the rest of the world, its richness in erucic acid unfortunately makes it unfit for consumption in Europe. And too bad for its many unsaturated fatty acids…
