Hello friends, today we will give you information about Uttar Pradesh wedding grant scheme through this article. This marriage grant scheme has been launched by Honorable Chief Minister of UP Yogi Aditya Nath Ji for the marriage of daughters of families from economically weaker sections of the state. Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs. 20,000 is provided to the eligible beneficiary. Financial assistance will be provided for the marriage of only 2 girls from one family under the Uttar Pradesh Shaadi Grant Yojana. The scheme will benefit all those poor people of the state. Those peoples living below the poverty line.

Under the UP Shaadi Grant Yojana, all BPL families belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Minorities and General Castes of the state will get benefits. Under this scheme, the annual income of below poverty line (BPL) families in rural areas should not exceed Rs 46,080. And the annual income of families in urban areas should not exceed Rs 56,460. The benefit of Uttar Pradesh Marriage Grant Scheme will be provided to 2 daughters of only one family in the form of Rs 40,000.

Shadi Anudan Yojna Application Form - Under this scheme, the funds given by the state government will be routed to the daughter's bank account through direct bank transfer (DBT). Under Uttar Pradesh Marriage Grant Scheme 2020, it is mandatory for the beneficiary to have a bank account. In addition, the bank account should be linked to the Aadhaar card. Through UP Vivah Anudaan Yojana, the Uttar Pradesh government is trying to benefit all the families who are economically weak. Under UP Shadi Anudan Yojna, the applicant must have the following eligibility and documents.


  • Applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
  • The benefit of this scheme will be given to two daughters per family.
  • Caste certificate is required for applicants of all other castes except general caste.
  • Applicant's Aadhar card and passport size photo
  • Aadhar card of parents (guardian)
  • BPL Ration Card
  • Family income certificate
  • Bank account passbook (linked to Aadhar card)
